“Wonderful Walk!”

“I had always wanted to take a stab at photography so I bought a camera whilst in Whistler. Then I came across this and decided to give it a try. What a great decision - the walk was really scenic but the guide, Shea, was even better in sharing with me a lot of pointers on how to maximize my new camera.”

“Photo Walk”

“Did a photo walk with Shea as our guide and had a great time! There were three of us in the group, with all very different photo abilities and cameras. I was wondering how he would work with that, but Shea managed it beautifully and everyone left feeling like we had learned something new!

I have a Samsung S7, and I had no idea that there is a 'pro' setting on the camera. I really loved learning about photo composition and how to deal with difficult light. One of our group members was obviously very knowledgeable with all the fancy gear, but he also walked away with some new techniques and how to operate some of the settings on his fancy camera better. All in all I would absolutely highly recommend this tour! It is a great way to see the village sights, get some awesome photos and learn about the camera you are using.”

“A great learning experience”

“We had such a great time. Just got a new camera and there was time for our guide to help me figure out how to use it to its potential. This was an epiphany for me. Was so pleased with my photos of the gorgeous scenery that was presented to us. Anybody interested in wilderness photography MUST take this walk.”

“Wonderful Walk!”

I was looking for something different to do in Whistler as I can't ski every day and I'm not a huge fan of shopping or extreme activities. I recently bought a new camera and I didn't understand many of the settings and I wanted to take better photos of my travels and my family.

I can't believe how much I learned in 2 short hours. It was a great walk around the village and the photographer was really nice ( and patient ! ) and showed me lots of the features on my camera and many great tips on how to take better photos.

I'm just an amature but I want to take better photos and now I will. I think after a 2 hour course all my photos will improve and I really wish I'd done this years ago.

“An awesome way to get taken to hidden gems”

“An awesome way to get to take photos of hidden gems in the Valley. Even as a local these walks will reveal great spots.”

— Tom

“Wish I had done it sooner”

“Ive been trying Youtube tutorials to learn about photography for the past few months but wasn’t really getting anywhere. Shea had an abundance of knowledge, was super patient and professional. I learned how to get the ‘blurred’ background portrait look ive been trying to get and couldn’t be happier!
