The power of a photograph. Moments in time, your kids while they’re young, your parents as they age, the hectic family vacation. We get so caught up in the busyness of life that sometimes we forget to slow down and take it in, but luckily, photographs do that for us. The memories may fade, but the photo is forever

Now that you know a little about me, id love to hear more about you.

Originally from the little known province of New Brunswick,  I discovered my passion for photography, shooting the beautiful landscape and nature of my home.

I was always an artistic kid, with a tendency to go against the grain, (just ask my parents!) spending my time drawing, painting and making music, and doing just about everything except my homework.

As a teenager I was only interested in landscape photography, I wanted to travel and shoot as much as possible, so that’s what I did. Ive seen the world, for which i’m forever grateful. But the more I travelled, and the more people I met, the more I missed home, and missed my family. I feel fortunate to come from a very tight knit and loving family. I still talk to my parents almost every day, and my brothers are my best friends. My parents taught me the importance of family, I learned about love and connection. And as I grew up, I became fascinated with meeting other families and getting to know them, and seeing the connection they share.

Witnessing the connection and happiness others share, how important they all are to each other, and capturing that in a photograph - is my favourite thing. I moved to Whistler in 2014 to focus on exactly that. I like to describe my job as “Photographing Happy people in the best place on earth”. It doesn’t get any better than that.
